An Expert Report is required in response to a claim made in Court or tribunal for litigation at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).

SDSS are regularly engaged by lawyers, based on our expertise relevant to the matter being disputed, to prepare Expert Reports and appear as an Expert Witness. 

Our expert reporting services will often include a “Report in Reply” to inspection reports organised by an Owners Corporation. 

A Report in Reply will address each item raised in an original report and will seek to determine what items are considered a defect by breach of the NCC or Australian Standards and what items are a matter of wear and tear or maintenance.
