Nicholas Hudson ^JP heads up the team of Strata Defect Specialists Sydney (‘SDSS’) where he brings extensive experience in the corporate sector dealing with Government Industry Codes, specialising in the associated law and good practice. With the revised Strata Scheme Management Act now in force, Nicholas is available to advise all stakeholders on interpretation and compliance.

Heralding from the United Kingdom, Nicholas is an electrical engineer, is experienced in construction and detailed bespoke joinery and has developed both residential and commercial properties.

Nicholas has brought together a highly qualified and talented team of individuals at SDSS capable of assessing and reporting on all levels of building construction ranging from strata defect inspections to expert reports for the Courts.

Dr Pat O’Donnell’s career in the building industry spans well over 30 years and includes various roles within a large number of health, education, Defence, accommodation/hospitality, transport, industrial, commercial and residential projects including new and refurbishment works. His very comprehensive and in-depth experience, together with his exceptionally high qualification, adds further dimension to the dynamic team at SDSS. Pat has practiced as a professional quantity surveyor in Sydney and was also a builder in the Northern Territory. Notably, Pat spent a number of years as an academic at UWS and UTS, has a number of publications to his name and a regular conference presenter.
