The Construction Audit Assistance Service (CAAS) was created by SDSS in response to the raft of new legislation introduced in NSW to address a depressed market in consumer confidence for Class 2 high-rise developments.
Technical Inspection Service - TIS
Residential units delivered with Latent Defect Insurance (LDI) provides owners with the ultimate peace of mind by not only offering for the first time a 10-year insurance policy against significant building defects, but also the additional peace of mind of knowing that a rigorous independent monitoring and surveillance program, referred as a Technical Inspection Service (TIS), has been carried out through the entire construction process.
Strata Bond - SBBIS
SDSS are the leading inspection agency under the NSW Strata Building Bond & Inspections Scheme (SBBIS). Under the SBBIS program, developers of new apartment buildings (four stories or above) are required to lodge a security bond with NSW Fair Trading before an occupation certificate will be issued.
